Background and Vision

ObjectFX Corporation is a privately-held software company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, with offices in Maryland and Virginia to service U.S. Government customers. Since our founding in 1994, ObjectFX has pursued the goal of enabling mainstream developers, systems integrators and IT groups to add geospatial capabilities to their applications without requiring detailed knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS). Today ObjectFX markets its products in a growing and evolving technology segment that International Data Corporation (IDC) has labeled “spatial information management” (SIM). IDC has stated that "SIM technology is migrating from specialized GIS applications to broad relevance within IT ecosystems.”  At ObjectFX we believe that business and government organizations have only begun to tap the potential value of spatial and temporal data in their information systems, and it is our mission to help our clients to realize that value.

Products and Services

ObjectFX provides products and solutions that enable organizations to leverage the full value of dynamic spatial and temporal data to gather intelligence, monitor and improve operations, and respond more quickly to changing conditions. Our Java-based geospatial software products provide an enterprise-class platform for developing and deploying 2D and 3D map visualization, vehicle routing, address geocoding, spatiotemporal rule processing and other mission-critical operations on client/server and Web-based systems. ObjectFX software is deployed in a broad range of industries in which location and timing are critical, including transportation, supply chain management, field force management, homeland security, and national defense and intelligence.
